A four-week Krillion practice plan

Updated

You can get noticeably better at Krillion in a month with about ten minutes a day. The goal isn’t to memorise everything; it’s to build routes into the categories that come up most and the habit of skipping your first answer.

How each session works

  1. Warm up (2 minutes): one unlimited dive without thinking about technique.
  2. Focus (5 minutes): read one prompt page’s full answer list and pick three deep answers you didn’t know.
  3. Test (3 minutes): one themed dive in that week’s subject.
  4. Note (1 minute): write down one category where you blanked.

Week 1: Habits

Focus on thinking past the first answer. In every dive, bank your first answer and look for one better one. Don’t worry about depth yet.

Week 2: Geography

Geography prompts are common, and the map rewards structure. Learn one region a day: countries, then capitals, then one river and one mountain each.

Week 3: Culture

Alternate films, music and pop culture. Pick a director or artist each day and walk their career from start to finish.

Week 4: Weak spots

Look back at your notes. Spend each session on the categories where you blanked, using the matching category guide. Finish the week with a full mixed dive every day and compare your depth with week one.

Keep it going

After a month the routine runs itself. Use the official daily dive at krillion.io as your weekly benchmark, check our hints when you’re stuck, and keep one category to learn each week.

Frequently asked questions

How long should I practise Krillion each day?

Ten to fifteen minutes is enough. Short, regular sessions build recall better than occasional long ones.
