What One in a Krillion means
Every day, all players get the same seven prompts, like “Name a citrus fruit”. Common answers such as orange or lemon are correct but score little because thousands of people type them. An answer almost nobody else gave, but that is still correct, lands in the top rarity tier and takes your dive deepest.
8 strategies for rarer answers
- Throw away your first thought. If it came to you instantly, it came to everyone else too.
- Shrink the category. Don't think “dog breeds”; think “Hungarian dog breeds” or “breeds used for herding”.
- Change era. Old, retired and historical answers are often forgotten: defunct teams, early films, ancient names.
- Change place. Most players think of their own country. Answers from another continent are rare for everyone.
- Use your niche. Your hobbies, job and hometown give you answers few other players have.
- Read the prompt closely. “Past or present”, “including territories” and similar wording widens what counts.
- Keep a backup. Hold a safe, certain answer ready in case your deep cut doesn't come in time.
- Practise. The more categories you have explored, the faster deep cuts come under the timer.
