How to play Krillion
The basics
- Every day the official game gives everyone the same seven prompts, such as βName a type of cheeseβ.
- You get a short timer for each prompt and type one answer.
- A correct answer always scores, but the less common it is, the more it's worth.
- Your points become depth: the deeper your dive, the better your day.
Play the daily dive at krillion.io. You get one scored attempt per day.
Tips for finding rare answers
- Skip your first thought. If it came to you instantly, it came to everyone else too.
- Go narrow. Instead of a whole category, think of a small corner of it: a region, an era, a niche.
- Use what you know. Your hobbies, job and hometown are full of answers few other players will reach.
- Watch the clock. A safe, correct answer beats a brilliant one you didn't finish typing.
- Practise. Our unlimited dives and prompt pages show you which answers sit deepest.

Daily dive, hints and practice
The official daily dive resets once a day. If you get stuck, our Krillion hints today nudge you toward an answer without spoiling it. When your daily attempt is used up, keep playing with Krillion Unlimited or a themed mode: geography, movies or sports.
Scoring on this site
Our practice game uses its own tiers: π Abyssal 100, π¦ Midnight Zone 85, π Twilight Zone 60, π Sunlit Zone 30 and π Surface 10. Each point is 10 metres of depth. Our rarity is estimated by hand, so practice scores won't match the official game exactly.
